I like to slip humor in among the mundane to catch people off-guard. Had this exchange today talking to a friend of mine who was in an airport:
Friend: Alright, time to go, I need to get on the plane.
Me: You should really get in the plane, seems much safer.
Friend: Wait, what?
Me: Hangs up.
Dave – I appreciate your brand of humor. It took me a second, but you are absolutely right – better on the inside
