Dave MaGee’s Wisdom for the People

Since not every piece of wisdom can be random anecdotes from my life, here is a stat about U.S. churches that I found interesting, via the book “A Field Guide to U.S. Congregations” by Cynthia Woolever and Deborah Bruce:

“10 percent of U.S congregations draw 50 percent of all worshippers each week. Another 40 percent of congregations have 39 percent of the worshippers each week. The remaining 50 percent of all congregations have only 11 percent of the total number of worshippers in a given week.”
